We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager, preferably in the Retail space, or a fast paced, nationwide tenant build out program. You will manage a wide range of construction projects in a variety of storefront locations.

Responsibilities:

• Formulating and documenting comprehensive project plans for the assessment, cost-estimation, lay-out sign-off, construction, procurement, set-up, formal handover (construction/build-out/set-up to operations, and punch-list follow-up for all new, relocating, and remodeling SmileShops
• Coordinating internal and external resources and facilitating effective communication for on-time delivery of the new, relocated, and remodeled SmileShops
• Analyzing current approaches to identify opportunities to improve (Better is Better) speed and effectiveness of project execution, materials, sourcing, workflows, and costs. Proposing/formulating improvement plans for the aforementioned
• Performing ad-hoc projects as directed by Retail Store Operations and senior leadership
• Preparing briefs on the progress and status of projects and documenting workflows
• Managing focus, energy, and attitude
• Planning effectively to meet deadlines
• Paying attention to detail
• Demonstrating financial, analytical, and overall business acumen
• Thinking critically
• Understanding cause and effect relationships in processes
• Applying project management, Lean, and Six Sigma principles/disciplines

It will really make us smile if you have…

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required
• 5 years of Project Management, Operations Management, or equivalent experience
• Project management, retail operations, program implementation, analysis, lean methodology
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, web search, project tools (MS Projects, etc.)
• Strong AutoCAD skills, able to work independently with AutoCAD
• Willingness and ability to travel 60-80% of the time, including consecutive days
