The Construction Project Manager plans, organizes, and controls project or process to deliver required business solutions within agreed time-scales and budgets while ensuring adherence to standards and quality for corporate facility projects under the overall guidance of the PMO, VP of Facilities and Construction and the CIO.

Responsibilities:

• Support project management in all phases of the project
• Creating and maintaining project documentation in a thorough and consistent manner
• Development and maintenance of project schedule
• Ensure timely and effective delivery according to project plan milestones
• Communicate project status and issues to executive stakeholders
• Hold regular status meetings, document and communicate project progress to all communication channels
• Proactively communicate information needed by team members to complete their tasks
• Provide updates and information to management based on issues, concerns, gaps and/or possible changes
• Manage the completion date and escalate accordingly
• Work effectively with resources to meet deliverables
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues, vendors, and 3rd party relationships
• Manage multiple, parallel project tasks using formal project planning techniques and tools
• Gather/consolidate reporting
• Visit all active job sites regularly to ensure Contractors are maintaining the sites, operating safely and performing quality work
• Manage the information flow between the GC, Architect, Furniture vendor and Engineers
• Review and approve Contractor pay applications
• Assist in review and response to Contractor RFIs

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in project management/project coordination and Construction Management or Engineering
• The ability to work under minimal supervision
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Microsoft Project or similar products
• Strong self-starter, assertiveness and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment but remain appropriately detail-oriented
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
• At least 5 years of progressive responsibility in construction project management and project coordination combined experience
