We are seeking a Senior Front End Engineer to join SmileDirectClub's growing UI/UX team. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the user experience and takes pride in their craft. The Front End Engineer should be able to demonstrate design thinking in conjunction with efficient and scalable code. They will work closely with our UI/UX team to design, prototype, and develop industry leading website experiences for our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing features and systems
• Help design scalable front-end architecture and processes
• Work rapidly to prototype and iterate on design concepts
• Collaborate closely with the product designers to develop a pattern and motion library
• Bring cohesive visual design patterns to multiple different platforms
• Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Building mobile first, responsive web applications
• Expert experience with jQuery, JavaScript, semantic HTML, XML, SQL, and CSS
• Must be able to work with varied CMS platforms
• Leverage Third Party RESTful APIs

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ years of experience at an agency or internal team
• Examples showcasing a wide-range of front end work
• Proven experience of JavaScript development and JavaScript Libraries
