The Corporate Counsel is a key role for our organization that reports to our General Counsel to support all aspects of our business.

Responsibilities:

• Drafts, reviews and negotiates various contracts and leases
• Assists management with employment law concerns, contracts, claims and creating company policies.
• Creates business legal reports and correspondence, and effectively presents information to senior management
• Manages various corporate governance compliance including annual reports and necessary licenses
• Responds to inquiries from regulatory agencies, customers and the business community.
• Other duties as assigned.

It will really make us smile if you have…

• J. D. and licensed to practice before a state bar
• 4+ years experience as a contracts or employment attorney, in house experience preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Professional demeanor
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail for accurate and thorough document generation, proofreading and editing
• Advanced proficiency in use of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information
