We are looking for a Vice President of Retail Operations who will be responsible for the daily operations of our retail stores (SmileShops) across the country in major metropolitan areas.  We currently have 15 stores, will have 30 stores by the end of 2017 and more than 50 stores by the end of 2018.  This is a newly created role in a rapidly growing business and there is no relocation necessary.  

Key Deliverables

  • Develop and implement business strategy for growth into top 30 markets by EOY ’17 and top 50 markets by the EOY ‘18.

  • Define metrics; hire leadership team, and grow retail business.

  • Identify, implement and manage day-to-day operations of facilities, staff and equipment.

  • Responsible for reporting and management of employee level reporting for all metrics.

  • Build upon and continue to deliver a culture of excellence.

  • Deliver results against a defined scope of work that includes measurable ROI.

  • Develop, implement and maintain effective internal and external Quality Assurance (QA) programs fostering continuous improvement and exceeding Service Level Agreement (SLA).

  • Manage metrics, ensuring customer satisfaction, and reporting statistical performance levels related to the SmileShops.

  • Coordinate analytic, strategic and technical resources to meet client expectations and ensure satisfaction.

  • Find and close new revenue opportunities within the existing client base.

Knowledge, Skills, & Experience Requirements

  • Management experience in the retail beauty/cosmetic/healthcare ancillary a plus.

  • Expertise managing high-growth multi-site/multi-state store openings and retail locations.

  • Prestige recruitment and staff-building experience, including the development of training programs.

  • Analytical skills including working knowledge of financial statement analysis, staffing models, scheduling, and telecom opportunities.

  • Strong leadership, mentoring and relationship building skills with ability to effectively manage group and interpersonal conflict situations.

  • Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communications skills – including statistical report writing.

  • Persuasive personality and positive influence.

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Must be nimble, and comfortable with fast-paced environment, with willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done.

  • Extremely resourceful, creative with the ability to implement new ideas, solve problems, and make smart decisions.

  • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency.Willingness to travel.
