SmileDirectClub is hiring Software Quality Engineers to help create the technology platform for an innovative B2C startup.  We are looking for bright, ambitious, and highly capable people that are able to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment while working with advanced technologies.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Develop test plans based on functional requirements and design documents, implement and mentor team members on the automation framework.

• Identify and prioritize features to obtain the highest benefit from test automation.

• Work on multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing these tasks to maximize productivity.

• Work independently as well as with a team of other technical resources.  

• Must be a technologist that stays up to date with current testing and technology trends and techniques.

• Operational support for web site and technology platform

• Mentor junior staff
   

Role Profile:

• Ability to take a task from requirements to deployment and support

• Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing these tasks to maximize productivity

• Self-starter with strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently as well as in a team

• Eagerness to tackle problems outside your core competencies and learn new technologies as required

• Current technology stack includes AWS, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Git

Experience:  

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or demonstrated industry hands-on experience

• Minimum 6 years of hands on experience with open source development

• Experience in the design and development of sophisticated, modern web applications and services

• Strong proficiency in testing of web frameworks

• Strong proficiency in testing APIs, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript

• Strong proficiency in automation frameworks

• Strong proficiency with Selenium

• Proficiency in Git

• Testing experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Experience with agile development processes

• Understanding of Development Operations and server architecture
