We're looking for a Regional Events Manager located in a major East Coast market to join our dynamic fast-paced Marketing team. The Event Marketing Manager will manage and execute all event marketing initiatives within their territory, including local promotions and national partnerships.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage local and national events across a wide variety of verticals (music, beauty, corporate, fitness, etc.) to generate leads and to create brand awareness.
  • Manage and oversee local representatives to execute event promotions.
  • Manage communications to educate all stakeholder’s surrounding events.
  • Coordinate with Senior Events Manager to align on event strategy for quarterly/yearly national campaigns.
  • Collaborate with third party vendors, agencies and partners to identify new event opportunities and support current initiatives.
  • Analyze metrics to identify and to develop new opportunities for event opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Content Marketing Manager and Social Media Coordinator for all content strategy surrounding events.
  • Coordinate with Senior Events Manager to develop creative brief, scope of work, process and execution.
  • Assist Public Relations team with execution of press and media activations.
  • Support regional SmileShop’s by developing event programming for grand openings.
  • Coordinate with local SmileShop Managers to identify and execute local promotions within communities.
  • Organize grass roots strategies in all SmileShop markets.
  • Coordinate trade shows and corporate events.
  • Coordinate with Retail Marketing team to execute in-store events and promotions.
  • Manage local outreach initiatives to identify new partnership opportunities.
  • Support internal event initiatives when necessary.

  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience managing local teams and/or brand advocates is required.
  • Extensive travel required.
  • Working knowledge of insights and analytics tools.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher.
  • Ability to look at data/numbers to see trends and make recommendations.
  • 3+ years of experience in event marketing.
  • Experience in the health and/or beauty industry is a plus.
  • A sense of humor and passion for making people smile
