We are looking for a Sr. Accounting Manager who will supervise and manage the day-to-day accounting activities of the organization. This role will be responsible for expense, inventory, intercompany, and cost accounting, as well as, supervising processing and payment of accounts payable. This role will also help prepare internal and external financial statements and assist in the design, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of internal controls.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or review monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis
• Prepare internal and external financial statements
• Prepare and/or review intercompany journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis for multiple legal entries
• Prepare and/or review direct cost allocations to multiple business units
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting
• Provide supervision and/or coaching to others
• Prepare and/or review GAAP technical documentation including revenue recognition and equity
• Assist in design, implementation, documentation, and monitoring of internal controls
• Assist with financial audits including drafting memos, preparing account schedules, and other supporting documentation
• Ad hoc reporting and other duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles and Company policies & procedures are adhered to

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required
• CPA required
• Minimum 4 years public accounting experience
• Minimum 7 years of experience in accounting is required
• Cost accounting experience
• Must be able to efficiently and independently manage projects and issues
• Must possess ability to implement process improvement ideas
• Excellent written, proofreading, and verbal communication skills
• Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to retain and protect confidential material
• Previous leadership and management experience preferred
