The Visual Merchandising Coordinator is responsible for upholding visual standards across new and existing SmileShop retail locations. Utilizing a thorough understanding of brand aesthetics and values, the VM Coordinator will assist the Visual Merchandising Manager by creating and executing planograms for new shop locations, coordinating on-site buildouts, renovations, or relocations based on visual directives from HQ, supporting shop managers through and assisting with vendor relations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Visual Merchandising Manager with the implementation of branded elements across both new and existing retail locations. 
- Execute retail displays and support new and existing retail locations based on visual directives through on-site set-up, video calls with existing stores, and close communication with the new shop buildout team.
- Assist in design of visual collateral, including prototype set-ups, floor sets, signage, and other merchandise as needed.
- Manage or assist with vendor relations, including: ordering merchandising material/swag, managing vendor quotes, and tracking/delivery of materials ordered. 
- Provide feedback to shop managers on how to improve the appearance of their stores.

- Background in retail or creative.
- Superior organizational skills with an eye for detail. 
- Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in the moment.
- Basic understanding of store layouts / floor plans and planograms.
- Ability to work independently or with a team.
- Superior planning and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to travel occasionally, up to a week at a time.
- Bonus: Adobe CS experience or a background in interior design.
