SmileDirectClub is seeking a Facilities and Construction Manager, who will oversee sourcing, planning, scheduling, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, executing, documenting, testing, inspecting, training, and overall managing of the following for all SmileShop retail, warehouse, and storage locations:

• Construction
• OSHA
• Safety
• HVAC
• Alarm systems
• Plumbing
• Electrical
• Lighting
• Snow removal
• Landscaping
• Waste management
• Painting
• Fire safety
• Emergency evacuation
• Preventative maintenance
• Maintenance
• Policy and procedure
• Equipment/appliances
• Hazmat
• Housekeeping/cleaning
• Life safety

50%: Sourcing, planning, coordinating, and following-up on the timely execution of construction projects
30%: Sourcing, planning, coordinating, and following-up on the timely execution of facilities vendors and facilities requests
10%: Managing vendor relationships, inspecting invoices
10%: Documenting workflows, activities, and preparing analysis/reports

It would really make us SMILE if you have…

• 5+ years of maintenance/repair experience
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in a general or specialized facilities and construction role
• Demonstrated resourcefulness, flexibility, adaptability, and a high sense of urgency
• Willingness and ability to travel 50-70% of the time, including consecutive days
• Maintenance certification from an accredited institution
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with maintenance and preventative maintenance software
• Bilingual – Spanish and English a plus
• Excellent verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize workloads and juggle many hats at the same time
• Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
