We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance analyst to help create the technology platform for an innovative B2C startup. We are looking for bright, ambitious, and highly capable people that are able to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment while working with advanced technologies.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance analyst to help create the technology platform for an innovative B2C startup. We are looking for bright, ambitious, and highly capable people that are able to thrive in a fast paced dynamic environment while working with advanced technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to develop test plans based on functional requirements and design documents, implement the test cases using automation and perform manual testing.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing these tasks to maximize productivity.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team of other technical resources.
- Must be a technologist that stays up to date with current testing and technology trends and techniques.
- Operational support for web site and technology platform
- Mentoring junior staff
- Current technology stack includes AWS, Python, Django, PostgreSQL, AngularJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Git
- Ability to take a task from requirements to deployment and support
- Ability to work on multiple tasks, prioritizing and organizing these tasks to maximize productivity
- Self-starter with strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Eagerness to tackle problems outside your core competencies and learn new technologies as required
- BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Systems or demonstrated industry hands-on experience
- Experience testing in an open source environment
- Strong proficiency in testing of web frameworks
- Strong proficiency in testing APIs, HTML, CSS3, and JavaScript
- Proficiency in Git
- Testing experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Experience with agile development processes
- Understanding of Development Operations and server architecture
