The Fulfillment Team Captain will be responsible for managing a team of 15+ people and ensuring that all nightly shipping goals are met with both quantity and quality. The Fulfillment Team Captain will ensure continuous customer satisfaction by remaining consistent with the established standards set by the Fulfillment Manager. In addition, he/she will assist the Fulfillment Manager in planning, coordinating, and directing the fulfillment process.

EVENING SHIFT: 3:00PM-11:00PM (Monday evening - Friday evening)

NIGHT SHIFT: 11:00PM-7:00AM (Sunday night - Thursday night)

Things to DO:

• Oversee fulfillment personnel associated with packaging/dispensing, bulk fulfillment, staging, and delivery

• Ensure that all escalations are resolved in a timely manner

• Coordinate and assist with the daily operational workflow to achieve maximum productivity

• Responsible for schedule adherence of all team members

• Assist with interviewing process and hire qualified individuals

• Provide employee feedback and disciplinary action

• Hold one-on-ones with team members to relay information and opportunities for improvement

• Comply with and enforce all company and departmental policies and procedures

• Motivate and maintain the morale of the team by creating an environment of teamwork, collaboration, and open communication

Things to BE/HAVE:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university

• Minimum 2-5 years in managing a team of 10+

• Detail oriented, accurate, and pays attention to detail

• Organized and strong time management skills to maintain daily to do list, stay on task, and meet deadlines

• Must be able to work in high production, quick changing environment

• A hard worker with a “no task is too small” attitude and team player

• Experience in Microsoft Suite, especially Excel to create spreadsheets and graphs

• Knowledge of USPS and FedEx shipping methods preferred

• Familiarity with 5S and Six Sigma Principles preferred

• Inventory control experience preferred
