SmileDirectClub is looking for a Technical Documentation Writer to provide high-quality documentation for stakeholders and team members as well as maintain internal documentation for the Technology team. We are looking for bright, highly capable individuals to join our growing technology organization.

Responsibilities:

• Designs, writes, maintains and updates technical documentation, including user guides, design specifications, and release notes based on content provided by Technology teams
• Organize and implement a documentation repository managing multiple versions of all documentation
• Coordinates with technical trainers to provide effective training materials to encourage quick absorption of new features
• Participates in software testing and user acceptance testing to stay current with new features

• Clear and concise communication skills
• Experience providing graphical representations of complex concepts
• Experience selecting and maintaining documentation tools
• Experience coordinating efforts with high-performing, distributed teams across the globe
• Ability to read at least two programming languages in order to research features independently
• Experience documenting both user-facing and technical release notes
• 5+ years of overall experience as a technology analyst with 2+ years as a technical writer
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience at an enterprise level
