The People Support Coordinator is responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining team member data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS). In our high-volume data entry environment, he/she will ensure that strict deadlines are met with utmost accuracy, while providing excellent service to our managers and team members. The People Support Coordinator will also monitor and verify that proper procedures are followed in accordance with our business practices and system requirements.

Responsibilities:
  • Enters automated transactions (new hire records, team member terminations and upload documents) and manual change requests (job related actions, employment status changes, etc.) into the system
  • Collect new hire documents, ID and assist with First Impressions
  • Follows the policies and procedures governing team member data entry and ensures changes to team member records are made in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process payroll for Smile Shops and Corporate locations.
  • Responsible for overseeing Unemployment claims and interaction with local government offices
  • Assists with updating and maintaining forms, policies and procedures relating to Team Member experience
  • Establish a process for FMLA, STD and LTD leave administration
  • Answer all questions relations to PTO, benefits, policies, payroll, and onboarding
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training/experience.
  • Computer savvy with proven ability to deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates high accountability, attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills. ï‚· Professional and courteous demeanor while working under pressure.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize workload.
  • Drive for continuous improvement, standardization and simplification of HR transactional processes
  • Able to handle confidential information with maximum discretion
  • Familiarity of HR procedures and practices strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of UltiPro a plus
