The Role of the Environmental Health and Safety Manager will be to lead, develop, and implement the core of EHS programs for the entire organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assure compliance with all government laws, regulations and license requirements and measure compliance with government and corporate standard.
• Assist Site Management Team in Defining health and safety (EHS) risks and manages loss control.
• Carrying out EHS comprehensive analysis
• Ensuring that EHS part of program assurance management systems are established implemented and maintained in accordance with the CEHS/External Certification Requirements and local laws and regulations.
• Monitoring all contractor activity in relation to accidents and incidents of non-compliance
• To communicate goals of safety to entire management team and provide assistance in developing strategy and method to achieve the goals.
• Reporting to top management on the performance of the EHS management systems for review, including recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure EHS performance report prepared and submitted on time and complied with corporate standard as required.
• Prepare and submit monthly EHS report to site management team.
• Spearhead all accident investigations
• Submit monthly safety statistic report and ensure data accuracy for entire organization
• Is the “keeper” of the standards and program compliance requirements expertise to be made available, familiar and in place throughout the location.

It will really make us smile if you have…

• Minimum 7-10 years related experience in EHS Program management, auditing and compliance. Deep knowledge in these programs.
• Minimum of 3 years working directly in the operating environment ideally in the manufacturing, production environment. This experience must include a supervisory role (directly responsible for people leadership)
• Ideal candidate hs degree in relevant EHS technical field/s and direct experience in the operating environment.
• Candidate must be able to present themselves well across the organization from the EHS Lead, Corporate, and externally to government officials.
• Ability to communicate to all level of stakeholders
• Strong analytic, strategic and influencing skills
• Ability and strong desire to implement, execute and follow-up a program
• Ability to operate in a multi-cultural environment
