We aren't looking for your average email designer (is that a thing?), we're looking for someone that can own and help lead our email creative for a fast growing brand that is disrupting an industry. This candidate should have experience in designing and coding for responsive email templates, webmail and app-based email clients, and the never evolving Microsoft Outlook (yeah we know, people still use it) as well as resolving rendering issues and optimizing email performance.

Responsibilities:

• Design engaging and effective, responsive email templates consistent with brand standards and best practices
• Ensure rendering consistency of email campaigns in webmail and app-based email clients
• Build and maintain templates in SFMC for use in extended email campaigns
• Stay current with design trends and work towards improving the email program with each email sent

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
• Ability to express ideas clearly and confidently.
• Desire to help foster a great creative culture and define the look and feel of what is next in design trends and email.
• Ability to move from one project to the next without skipping a beat.
• Ability to work autonomously and with the team no seat filler here, we're looking for someone to own it. 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Background in consumer marketing is a plus
• Technical background:
  • Experience using different ESPs (preferably Salesforce Marketing Cloud ExactTarget)
  • Designing with Adobe Creative Suite and/or Sketch
  • Experience in animation/GIF creation
  • Knowledge and experience with writing CSS and HTML to meet business objectives (SFMC Ampscript a plus)
