Our Company is looking to hire someone to lead the People Support function of a fast-growing consumer products company headquartered in Nashville, TN.

Responsibilities:

  • Build recruiting systems that attract and retain world-class people who support our values and help everyone improve
  • Develop and implement an overall philosophy of how to achieve the best people management and performance throughout the Company
  • Partner with all Business Leaders to help them achieve their goals through talent management and development
  • Find ways to help our people be successful in their roles throughout the Company
  • Develop training and development programs to coach all leaders in the business to attain top performance through effective people management
  • Build and evolve company culture so SmileDirectClub is recognized as a top place to work, but also one that delivers great results.
  • Develop communications programs that support our values of transparency, autonomy, collaboration and accountability
  • ​​​​​​​Develop a compensation strategy and framework that best match our culture and lead to great results
  • ​​​​​​​Work with business leaders to develop future state organizational development objectives for talent management, succession planning and leadership development

  • Deep understanding of the key business drivers and how the organization's people influence them. 
  • Ensuring the corporate culture is supportive of the business and working throughout the organization to promote and support the culture.
  • Strategically driving workforce analytics and data.
  • Strategically overseeing hiring, training, HR, HRIS, professional development, performance management and other people-centered activities to ensure they are optimized for the best performance of people and in the best interest of the organization's bottom line.  (Making sure everyone has the resources they need to perform at the highest level possible while ensuring the health of the organization.)

Education:

  • BA or BS Degree Required
  • ​​​​​​​Master’s Degree Preferred
  • 8-10+ years experience as the functional People leader for a growth-oriented company
