We are looking for an Affiliate Manager to join our dynamic, fast-paced Marketing team. The Affiliate Manager will be responsible for overseeing SmileDirectClub’s ambassador program as well as securing strategic content partnerships to aid SEO content strategy, supporting all phases of the Customer Journey, driving customer acquisition, and contributing to the achievement of sales goals.

Responsibilities:

• Possess the ability to both lead affiliate strategy and perform day-to-day execution of tasks.
• Support relationships with affiliate partners by providing marketing resources, data, and coaching. Create, implement, and manage affiliate compliance and communication processes.
• Make data-driven decisions to optimize program performance. ï‚· Contribute to the achievement of Marketing team sales and spend goals.
• Manage affiliate partner commission payments, contracts, and performance.
• Support Earned, Owned and Paid Media teams with strategic affiliate content.
• Secure strategic content partnerships (both large and small) to grow organic traffic, populate organic search results, and contribute to a positive narrative about SmileDirectClub.
• Lead the acquisition and implementation of new partners in an efficient, scalable, and quality manner.
• Identify and execute tactics to support SmileDirectClub SEO content strategy to own the first page of Google organic search results.
• Attend weekly Owned team meetings to ensure alignment between content strategy and other team initiatives.
• Work with Content Strategy Manager to strategize and conceptualize content to support Marketing campaigns and the Customer Journey with a clear CTA to drive sales.
• Oversee and optimize SmileDirectClub’s ambassador (referral) program. 
• Manage the organization and payment of ambassador commissions daily.
• Identify tools/platforms to support ambassador and affiliate initiatives.
• Possess expertise on industry best practices and proactively seek out continued education to remain up-to-date on trends.
• Become well-versed with SmileDirectClub brand language and tone and apply it accurately.
• Report daily and weekly on affiliate and ambassador performance and trends.
• Execute and assist in daily content strategy utilizing Content Calendar, Customer Journey and other tools.

• Excellent writing, editing, spelling and communications skills
• Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Prior experience in leading affiliate program strategy and referral program strategy.
• Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly to drive audience to complete a desired action (persuade, inform, educate, etc.)
• Possess an understanding of SEO and keyword usage tactics and utilize best practices
• Working knowledge of insights and analytics tools
• Comfortable becoming an expert in his/her area to support the Marketing team and SmileDirectClub
• Ability to look at data/numbers to see trends and make recommendations 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor’s Degree or higher
• 3-5+ years of experience with managing affiliate content in a marketing setting
• Experience in business/technical writing is a plus
• Experience in the health and/or beauty industry is a plus • A sense of humor and passion for making people smile
